Overview:
GTE is a global leader in telecommunications, and the National Football League is quickly becoming the premier sports league in the United States and throughout the world. For years, both GTE and the NFL have engaged in charitable programs, which are designed to promote education initiatives and improve their franchise communities.

In 1993, Léger was chosen by GTE and the NFL to create an educational CD-ROM, as a part of a national promotion for seventh grade students to learn mathematical principals using football as a teaching base. This program allowed children to take their broad exposure and understanding of this popular sport, and translate it into new math concepts to promote a quicker and broader understanding of more advanced concepts. The CD-ROM was designed to be as entertaining as it was educational, and was heralded as a success by both sponsors and educators alike.
